Rising Tribe is a band based out of Massachusetts that features singer-songwriter Tiffany Gassett. We play a blend of original and cover music -- Celtic Folk Rock, Classic Rock, Reggae, Country, and more. You can see us in a variety of combinations, but we usually feature the electric guitar, electric fiddle, 12-string guitar, drums, and bass.
To hear us live, come see us at one of our shows at a concert or bar. You can also catch us at a variety of community events and private parties.

Band members include:
| Tiffany Gassett. Singer-songwriter Tiffany Gassett writes the original Rising Tribe songs, including "Walking Song," "In Pain," and "No Hard Feelings," as well as political tunes like "Time's the Time" and "Live or Die." Tiffany and Rising Tribe's debut album is due out at the end of the summer. You can also visit her solo site at tiffanygassett.com. | |
| John Rawlings. John is Rising Tribe's lead guitarist, adding his classic rock and blues influence. He'll swap his electric guitar for the banjo or pedal steel guitar on occasion to add a bit of country and bluegrass to the band's sound. Occasionally, you can hear him on the acoustic guitar and harmonica. And for you ladies, here's a flash: John is very hard to distract while playing, but go ahead and try. | |
| Clara Kebabian. Clara's electric violin and her effects bring a modern Celtic flare to Rising Tribe. She can be heard on Tiffany and Rising Tribe's forthcoming album, Back to the Water. If you are a fan of rockin' fiddle tunes, wait until you hear her and the band playing a cover of the Waterboy's "Fisherman's Blues" -- the original might seem just a bit tame after hearing it live. Besides Rising Tribe, check out Clara in Eksi Ekso, a Boston rock band. | |
| Joe Willis. Joe plays drums for Tiffany's solo album and is the driving beat for the Rising Tribe band. | |
